I have struggled with my weight for most of my life. I started to gain weight as a teenager, lost it, then gained it back as a young adult. I gained after I got married and after both of my daughters were born. I tried a lot of different diets and a few different exercise routines that worked for a short time, but never long term. In December 2010, I lost my Dad suddenly and within a year, I reached my highest weight ever. I gained more than I did with both of my pregnancies. I had no motivation to make a change until 5 years after my Dad passed away. I was approaching my 40th birthday and really wanted to be healthy. This was the best fitness class I have ever attended. MJ is truly a great fitness trainer. We had a lot of fun but we trained hard. I highly recommend his classes to anyone who will take the fitness challenge. I will miss everyone there but I will be back at class when in town.

I have never been comfortable enough with myself to take a class. I'm extremely self conscious. Walking in my first day I was nervous and full of anxiety. Upon walking in I was welcomed with kind words and a smile.

MJ does an amazing job at making you feel comfortable, welcomed and pushes you as far as you can go. Everyone in the class is supportive and encouraging. I look forward to Tuesday and Thursday classes. I know I'll walk in to a smile and a good sweaty workout. I'm excited to finally lose these last 50 lbs with MJ and the class.

I was looking for something different to kick start my fitness goals. I looked up gyms within the area and found MJ Fitness. I've been attending classes for three weeks now and I am excited to show up each day and work hard for my results! The hour goes by so fast and it's always a different workout each time. MJ is very motivating and always pushes you to your full potential. There is never a time where I felt like I couldn't do something, he encourages you throughout the whole workout.
